So apparently some publishers are having a fit because libraries only have a certain amount of copies of ebooks that can be lent out before the license for it expires. What is the big deal? Don’t libraries have a certain amount of each physical books within the library? What is the difference? I believe having a limit will prevent problems one being borrowing issues. If a library has too many copies out on loans wouldn’t the chances of theft be greater? I mean people are going to steal regardless but it would be easier with ebooks. That’s what I would be worried about. Illegal downloading will triple with this method. Publishers wanna whine now, wait a minute. Their pockets will really be crying.
Peace and luv!
