Remember a few weeks ago when Amazon announced they were going to try something new? They decided to cut out the middle man and go straight to the authors for book deals. Well it was just a matter of time before someone else followed
suit. That someone is Kobo.
Kobo is a Canadian based ebook company that is looking to take out the middle man and strike deals with the authors. They will offer complete publishing services as well.
I think Amazon has started something promising however agents and publishers are biting their nails and shaking in their boots over this curve in publishing. With that being said what do you think? Is this concept going to make it easier for writers? Does Amazon and Kobo have enough experience in publishing to gain respect?
Peace and luv!
