Literary Review, I guess, does a yearly list of novels that had bad sex scenes in them. There are a lot of lists I want my name on but this is not one of them. To add salt to the author’s name they have been tweeting bad sex quotes from the novels. Surprises for me when I read over the list was Stephen King. I guess even veterans in the game is susceptible to bad writing every now and again.
I wonder what are their criteria for bad sex scenes because they don’t put it anywhere on their site. And who is judging? Is is old heads? You know grouchy old heads don’t know any other position but missionary; anything else may be despicable to them. Either way it go it draws attention to these writers. Publicity, bad or good, equals attention. You judge for yourself.
