Copy, Paste

Call me paranoid but I can’t help but be suspicious about this one. Over in Japan Walter Isaacson’s Steve Jobs biography is selling like hot cakes. The insanely curious side of me is saying that the main reason for the massive sales is because they think some secret will be embedded in the book that will give them an advantage over all other countries, especially the U.S. They along with China have in the past been known to replicate, or try to, our electronic products only to sell it for cheap. Hey, somebody had to say it, minds well be me.

The first run of the biography in Japan was 100,000. Literally 3 days later they had to print more books to keep up with the demand. 650,000 more! In the U.S. the first week it debuted 379,000 copies were sold.

I really don’t think there would be secrets embedded in the book. They get an A for effort but that’s about it. Unless they have inside connects the Japanese will just have to wing it blindly. Hey at least the author is making money.

Peace and luv!
