Los Angeles Black Book Expo

Los Angeles Convention Center days before the ...

In 2004 the LABBX started with the mission to connect anyone who has love for reading books. That includes teachers, instructors, tutors, to regular book lovers. It is time to get our communities to get back into reading. Children who read regularly have a higher chance at staying in school, consistently having higher grades and are more likely to attend college.

The LABBX will be a free event for anyone to attend. If you will be in the area Saturday August 11th I suggest you attend. The L.A. Convention Center is the place; 12p-6p is the time. There will be workshops, guest speakers and a spoken word/poetry pavilion.

Peace and luv!
