Students get to learn how to create iBooks

My 13 year old daughter has a class (taught by my favorite teacher of all time) where they learn how to build websites using code, etc and I think that is awesome. Times are changing and schools need to stay up on what is new since they will have to navigate through it once they get out in the world, especially technology.

Students in New York will get the opportunity to learn about the process of coding, robotics and graphic design. The Professional Association for Design has started this program that offers three workshops: Make a Mobile App, Electronics Prototyping with Little Bits and Be a Graphic Designer. The main focus will be on how to work on Apple digital books leading them to make their own iBook.

Can you imagine what these kids could do for the world of publishing? There are no more glass ceilings I can tell you that much.

Peace and luv!
