The deadline is 11:59p on May 1st. Winners will be announced on June 3rd and it is free to enter

The Kiss Writing Contest
Writers get your pencils ready. You need a story 500 words or less on a forbidden relationship. This is for YA readers, no freaky, deaky stuff!
Winner will get story posted onto Patterson’s YA site. Also they will win $500 along with a 16GB iPad Mini uploaded already with James Patterson ebooks. Nice, huh?

The Digital Storymakers Awards
High school, college and graduate students are eligible to participate in the digital storymakers contest. Students can present their best nonfiction work in order to win the grand prize which is $5000 and have their work published in the Digital Storymakers App. Nine grand prize winners will be chosen.
Another incentive is once you register you get free access to use a software called Atavist which guides you to create the best work rather through text, audio, video or animation. Get your package together because the start date to send in submissions is Jan. 1st and the deadline is April 15th.
